I started painting in 2016 at the urging of my friend Jason. I am an outsider artist, but I enjoy painting and sharing my images with my friends. I mostly paint for my friends and for myself. My friend Jason suggested I create something for the newest exhibit at the Hamilton Street Gallery. I am not a professional artist or trained in art in any way. I think of my paintings as idea sketches. Sometimes my work involves complex ideas but expressed in a way that is childlike. I paint my idea sketches rapidly and usually in acrylic.
