   My artwork is an exploration of science, technology, nature, and the wonders of the human body. It delves into the relationship between these ideas and inspires curiosity about the world around us.
The past few years I’ve specifically concentrated on microscopic images of cells in the human body and in nature. Comparisons are noted. A brain cell can resemble branches or roots of trees. Inner and outer landscapes are often strikingly similar. The smallest known cells can mysteriously mimic the structures of immense, expansive views in outer space.
These themes are connected to my passionate interest in preserving our ecosystems and protecting our one, precious environment. Most of my work is in acrylic and oils, and utilizes a bold color palette.
