So challenging to seriously reflect on my appearance. I am not a photorealist artist therefore I choose to create self portraits that capture the essence of my personality and that reflect my interests. Many paintings of myself have greenery and bold color to express my love of nature, pattern and vibrant color. As I have matured with age, self portraits take on a serene reflection of my life.
