We are all Time Travelers.
Our memories tie us to the past. Our dreams, to the future.
The stories of the past we hear from our families, the books we read, the movies we see, inform us of yet other days. They may not be our personal experiences, however the knowledge gained becomes a part of us.
Through my Time Traveler collage series, I present narratives many of us experience, that though the details are different the act of doing is in many ways the same. Like taking a leap. Whether a leap of chance, of faith, no matter the reason each of us jumps into a new life, job, relationship, etc.- collectively it can be understood as being a moment of decision to do something brave. Despite potential pitfalls or even danger, the act in and of itself harkens to someone’s choice to make an important change.
Time Traveler: Taking a Leap speaks to that experience in each of us when we might have felt either scared or excited or both, to face the future courageously.
