Our present from an overview The clutter is rubble, a metaphor for the ruins of previously coherent, dependable outer and inner structures. The busyness, with little space for the eye to rest, is indicative of the constant awareness of this state without a foreseeable end or exit; a pervasive air of psychological fracturing. The outlining of certain forms is meant to reinforce the reality of the presence of those things that were once hard to believe or thought insignificant.
The appearance of masks and cartoonish images of people symbolize the fragmentation of whole humans in a polarized environment where people are seen as and are interpreted as acting cultural identities. The masks falling away reveal the disturbances underneath.
