In the midst of fear, I have found solace in the beauty of nature. From my windows, I watch countless sunrises and sunsets. And when I feel brave, I escape the prison of my home for long walks in city parks. Here I lie in the grass to watch clouds float by, the green returning to the trees, birds building nests, and squirrels playing pick-a- boo. This time like no other in my life, I have allowed myself to get lost in the revelry of nature. It is a force that has sustained me during these long months. A force I hold close to my heart.
