“Memento Mori” incorporates vintage photos, original drawing, ephemera, stones, metal charms, embroidery floss, wire, a plastic toy. It depicts the “living” world in the top section, with “after death” below. The reality of our ultimate demise, decay and disappearance lies just beneath the stone walls and familiar places we live in, holding onto dreams of an afterlife.
