In my work I explore the concepts of quiet introspection as I grow and navigate life through the confusion of existence. I often incorporate tropes of escapism and dissociations in my art in a playful and dramatic manner that examines the disconnect between the inner state and the perceived state. By using heavy contrast, I attempt to highlight the weight of grief and trauma with the juxtaposition of uncertain optimism.
