   I have always been a photographer, capturing images of the Delta Works in the Netherlands with my first Fuji camera at the age of 16. Later I photographed my family and today I find my subjects primarily in the natural environment. I am a self-taught artist.
   My inspiration comes from the beauty of nature, its colors, its creatures and the landscape. The landscape changes with the seasons, and the light offers a different view throughout the day. I watch the wildlife in my backyard, which helped me survive the isolation of the pandemic. I like to share the beauty of nature and hope to inspire the viewer to look around and see Mother Nature with new eyes.
   My pictures also inspire the watercolor art and the children’s books I have written. Creating is my pleasure. My motto is “A Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever”. I wish you Joy!
