Statement
I always thought that the Post Office was something that we could count on no matter what. Something so American and steady. I had a few relatives who worked for the Post Office and they seemed very devoted to it, and worked there for many years until their retirement. The Post Office is part of the American Fabric of our lives. I am hoping that it can remain the wonderful institution that it has always been. I completed these paintings especially for this show. I am happy that they will be hanging in the Hamilton Street Gallery.
