Anthony’s Hair Cut-gelatin silver print-such an ordinary moment, but what one cannot see is how difficultit was toconvince my father, then living in senile dementia, to come out of the house even for a short while for that haircut, thus giving my mother a few quiet moments of her own. I hoped he’s stay still for the young barber; that he would not create a fuss. He was most cooperative that day, a reminder of the courteous gentleman he had been before dementia took its toll.
