 Wherever they come from, and whether conscious or not, dreams are impactful to insight and creativity. Throughout history and in cultures worldwide, deep meaning and purpose has been ascribed to dream imagery, symbolism and story line. This includes gifts of prophesy, understanding, wisdom and knowledge. Lucid dreaming, writing down one’s dreams upon awakening and other practices and means continue to be used to access or capture the dreamworld space. Night and/ or day, the dreams, visions, ideas, thoughts, sounds, words, movements, etc. that arise internally, without our willful involvement, inform us on many levels. Be it through our muse, intellect, talent, spiritual connection, past life experience, training or the cosmic universal one mind, we hope to tap into what our conscious/ subconscious provides from the dreamworld space when we enter that creative realm and seduce a painting to occur.
