I am an artist and educator from Metuchen, NJ who has shown both locally and internationally. I like to juxtaposition original and borrowed images to express my ideas and feelings about myself and the world around me. I have always been drawn to collage and assemblage and my most recent paintings are all done by hand but still mix and match pieces from many different sources.
My work combines these modern symbols and a playful pop art sensibility to sort out my own feelings and form a personal narrative. I draw my inspiration from cartoons, comic books and contemporary art history.
