Artist Statement:
A one time puffed up self important crook and con man ran fast and loose with people’s time and money, promising great things in reward for their free labor, only to take credit for their hard work at the ribbon cutting ceremonies. Now, through some Faustian soul swapping, he is the leader of the free world and playing fast and loose with our country’s money, spirits and democracy. This presidency inspired the perfect setting for the damsel in distress and her nightmarish tormentor sinking in a gloomy swamp.
