I GOT THE CHAIR AND MIRROR AT AN ANTIQUE STORE CALLED THE ANTIQUE CASTLE….IT PROBABLY IS FROM THE 60’S…I ONLY USED IT FOR DECORATIVE PURPOSE….SO I REALLY NEVER USED IT FOR HAIRCUTTING. I WISH I KNEW MORE. BEING A HAIRDRESSER IS LIKE BEING AN ARTIST…  YOU ARE BEING AN ARTIST TO EVERY PERSON YOU WORK ON…AND THEY WILL THINK OF YOU EVERY TIME THEY LOOK IN A MIRROR. (GOOD OR BAD) I LOVE BEING A HAIRDRESSER…IT IS UNIQUE RELATIONSHIP….PEOPLE BOND TO YOU…BECAUSE YOU TOUCH THEM. PEO-PLE OPEN UP TO YOU AND TELL YOU THEIR LIFE’S STORY….ANYONE CAN CUT HAIR…THEY COME BACK TO YOU FOR A REASON. I AM NOT UNCOMFORTABLE WITH ANY EMOTION…I WILL CRY WITH YOU…OR CELEBRATE….I HAVE SHAVED HEADS FOR PEOPLE WITH CANCER UNDERGOING CHEMO. SO YOU SEE PEOPLE  ALL AGES AND IN ALL TYPES OF HEALTH…IT IS MORE DIVERSE THAN YOU THINK…EVERYONE IS UNIQUE. I FEEL PRIVILEGED TO BE SO TRUSTED. IT IS BEING AN ARTIST WITHOUT FANFARE. EVERYONE GET’S THEIR HAIRCUT…EVEN WHEN THEY ARE DEAD.
