I love being a woman. Being an older woman is new to me. It’s sort of a balancing act. Am I dressing age appropriate? Can I show cleavage at dinner parties? Do I have to give up cursing? Dammit, I hope not. Do I color my hair? What color? Am I wearing too much makeup…after all I’m not 17? Is it okay to say I have a boyfriend? WHAT??? He is either your significant othe, partner or man friend. Finally, if one is fortunate enough to have an enduring relationship with a partner who is significantly younge, does one have to explain that being in love and enjoying sex is not just for the young? Celebrate life and be grateful is my mantra.
