“Armed Candy”Which “she elephant” wast served up as “arm candy”?  Not Cleopatra, maybe Josephine; not Queens Elizabeth I or Victoria.  Certainly not Jackie Kennedy or Hilary Clinton.  But notably, in most cases – some stronger than others – universal social conscience tried to put women in “their place”.  In my mobile book sculpture, “Armed Candy”, this farce is redressed.  Watch out!  History has decreed that “She Elephant” is more truly represented as “armed candy” – with weapons updated through the centuries.“A Book of Soles”How quickly we forget the mighty “sole elephant”.  So much to do, so far to walk, so many adventures to experience, and all accomplished on the soles of our feet.  Ast we could not stand upright, but when we did, the human army marched across the worlde path we trod is oen shrouded in mist, but our feet inevitably moved oey carried our collective soul.  Without these feet out thoughts and images would have found no place of markinge “sole ele-phant” refuses rest and imprints everywhere – even if washed away by time.
