I have always been drawn to trees; the way they soar into the air yet stay firmly planted by reaching deep into the ground; the way their branches are like fingers making each tree as unique as a fingerprint; and the way they
stand silent and beautiful and never boastful of how vital they are to our survival. Trees can convey a mood ranging from peaceful tranquility to a chilling eeriness depending on the season and how the light hits them at
any given time. My work takes the viewer on a stroll through the ethereal forest with photography that explores its expressive nature and leaves the viewer to walk the divide between what is real and what is fantasy.
